I love the Berkeley Brazilian Room as a wedding reception venue. It’s not too far away nestled in Tilden Park in Berkeley making it somewhat easy to get to. Best of all, there are great spots in the trees and garden area for portraits. As the morning fog cleared up, the sunny blue skies opened up just in time for the ceremony.
It makes my job much more enjoyable when I can see that the bride and groom are easy going and relaxed and can truly enjoy the special day. This was obvious from the start as the bride and groom started getting ready in the same hotel room! It’s also great to see when the guests are having a blast during the dancing as well as during… wait for it… flipcup, yes flipcup. This was the first wedding that I have photographed where flipcup was played and it was awesome.
