Doing a family portrait with six young children was quite a challenge but we got it done! For this family, three families and the grandparents all get together from out of town and go to a different location every year. I was more than happy to be able to take the family portraits when this years destination was San Francisco.
I went on a nice family weekend getaway to Guerneville with some close family friends. They have been wanting some family portraits for some time now but it was hard to get everyone together and this was a great opportunity to do so. They rented a house in Guerneville by the Russian River and it was nice to get away from the big city and go somewhere a little more remote. We had some great home cooked meals, visited a couple wineries, walked around downtown Healdsburg, and had fun in the evenings playing a game called Mexican Train. I had a great time and hopefully I captured some great moments from the trip.
I love the expression of her looking at the Lottery ticket.
I know he is slightly out of focus but this shot had great emotions and that is more important.
The curious mind of a baby.
That’s me with Kenley!
Is that baby too adorable or what!
Dr Ho and Dr Kwong needed some new family shots for a promo ad for their dental offices at Union City Dental Aesthetics in Union City and Peninsula Family Smile Center in Burlingame. Along with the traditional formal portraits, we got some good candids as well. He also happens to be my brother!
This past weekend, I did a family shoot with Nick, Irene, their new baby girl, Kenley and their two dogs Lola and Jackson. We shot at the park/pier in Point Richmond. The sun was shining extremely bright even though it was around 4-5pm, which is usually the best time to shoot. At least the weather was nice, and it wasnt raining. It was slight breezy since it was on the bay, but not cold at all. It was pretty hard to get the attention of the baby, and two dogs. Fortunately, we had a few other people to help get their attention. The shoot was a little hectic with the dogs, baby, and people. The most cooperative was definitely Kenley, and it was also her one month birthday!
